A former barn, it has been lovingly transformed into an exceptionally stylish and modern place to stay combining original elements such as rustic stone walls, with a host of top-of-the-range appliances. Sleeping up to 10 guests in five bedrooms, each with private en-suite facilities, it&rsquo;s the ideal choice for family gatherings or getting together with good friends. One-to-one beauty treatments, hair care and massages are also available at the on-site salon and can be pre-booked before your stay.<\/p>\n<h3>The space<\/h3>\n<p>There&rsquo;s a climb of 14 stone steps up to the entrance of this cottage. Once inside, the star of the show is the large open-plan kitchen\/dining\/lounge area that runs the full width of the house. It&rsquo;s spacious and bright with extra height achieved from the arched ceiling that incorporates huge oak beams and stunning, contemporary chandeliers. Meanwhile, the views out to the fields and countryside are heavenly.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s a very sociable space perfect for chatting, cooking, eating and relaxing together. The deluxe kitchen is ready for you to prepare large meals and is well-equipped with high-spec Gaggenau appliances consisting of two ovens, a microwave, a warming drawer, a double touch hob, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There&rsquo;s also a double American-style fridge\/freezer, two bottle coolers and two islands with plenty of cupboard space and bar stools where you can help the cook prepare ingredients for dinner. When it&rsquo;s time to eat, the long dining table accommodates everyone comfortably.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the lounge area has plenty of sofa seating positioned around a lovely wood burner where cosy nights can be spent watching the TV or a film (there&rsquo;s Freesat and a DVD player). Or, on summer evenings, fling open the patio doors that lead to the balcony where there are fantastic views across the countryside.<\/p>\n<p>On the same floor as the living area, there are three bedrooms. One bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite with a shower, bath and WC; a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite with a shower cubicle and WC; and a bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite with a shower cubicle and WC.<\/p>\n<p>One floor up there are two more bedrooms, both with a double bed and an en-suite shower room.<\/p>\n<p>There&rsquo;s also a patio garden area, equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue, while the lawned gardens are shared with guests of other cottages on the site.<\/p>\n<h3>Guest access<\/h3>\n<p>There is a lockbox where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in, however the owners live nearby and are available to offer assistance during your stay.<\/p>\n<h3>Sustainability<\/h3>\n<p>We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.<\/p>\n<h3>Keep in mind<\/h3>\n<p>The garden is not enclosed and there is a small unfenced lake in the grounds where the cottage is located, so please supervise children at all times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check-in:<\/strong> from 15:00<br \/>\n<strong>Check-out: <\/strong>by 10:00<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deposit:<\/strong> Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 70 days before the date of travel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accidental Damage Deposit: <\/strong>To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of &pound;200 prior to their stay.
