It&rsquo;s part of a collection of renovated farm buildings situated at the end of a pretty treelined driveway and is surrounded by fields, yet the local pub is just a 5-minute stroll away. Hophouse Cottage Is a cosy hideaway for two to spend a few days, or even a week, enjoying the peaceful location and exploring the delightful towns and villages of the<a href=\"https:\/\/luxurycottages.com\/location\/england\/peak-district\/\"> Derbyshire Peak District<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">The space<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Step through the entrance hall and into the open-plan kitchen and living area. The modern kitchen has everything for two to self-cater including an oven, fridge, freezer box, toaster and microwave, plus there&rsquo;s a washing machine and ironing facilities.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you don&rsquo;t feel like cooking, arrangements can be made for a local catering company to deliver to you, so that pretty much all you have to do is warm the food up. Or, you can book a personal chef to whip up a meal for a special occasion, or even to cook for you every day if you wish.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">When you&rsquo;re ready to eat, there&rsquo;s a dining table for two and afterwards, you can relax together on the sofa in front of the TV. French doors lead from the living area to the cosy bedroom.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the bedroom, there&rsquo;s a comfortable bed with a deep <span><span>king-size<\/span><\/span> mattress and soft cotton sheets, hanging space for your clothes and a dressing table. There&rsquo;s also a modern wet room with underfloor heating, a heated towel rail, a walk-in shower, WC and a solid oak sink unit with a granite top and basin.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Guest access<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The owners live on the site and are available to answer any questions you may have. However, there is a lockbox with a key to allow for a self-check-in. There are other holiday properties on the site and there is ample parking.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Sustainability<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Keep in mind<\/h3>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Dog Rules <\/strong>&#8211; Up to 2 dogs are permitted &#8211; fee displayed in your booking summary<\/p>\n<p>The bedroom can accommodate a travel cot or small camp bed that are available on request at an extra cost of &pound;25.<\/p>\n<p>Massage and beauty treatments can be pre-arranged for you to enjoy in the comfort of the cottage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check-in<\/strong>: from 16:00<br \/>\n<strong>Check-out:<\/strong> by 10:00<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deposit:<\/strong> Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 70 days before the date of travel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accidental Damage Deposit<\/strong>: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of &pound;200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement.<\/div>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">House rules<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>No smoking<\/li>\n<li>No parties and
