The space

Main House

A long bespoke oak dining table comfortably seats the whole group, making it ideal for celebratory meals or relaxed breakfasts together. Carefully crafted wooden furnishings, made by local craftsmen using timber from the surrounding area, add warmth and character throughout the room.

Elsewhere on the ground floor, an informal TV room offers a cosy retreat with another wood-burning stove, large sofas and a cinema-style screen for film nights. This room also features a piano, a full-size pool table, board games and a wall-sized map of the Lake District, perfect for planning the next day’s adventures. A boot room provides plenty of storage for coats and walking gear, while a utility room with washing and drying facilities ensures practical comfort during longer stays.

The main house features eight bedrooms in total, five doubles and three twins, supported by seven bathrooms, four of which are en-suite.
